HCG

Made popular by Dr Simeon and Kevin Trudeau, HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a metabolic resetting hormone. It works by resetting the hypothalamus, thereby increasing the metabolic rate (overall) and suppressing the appetite. HCG is naturally secreted from the human placenta early in pregnancy to help maintain the uterus and fetus. In high doses it can cause morning sickness, but in the smaller doses used for weight loss there are rarely side effects.

Theoretically, if utilized (injected) for 40 consecutive days, the resulting effect is resetting the hypothalamus for overall increased metabolic stimulation.
